I firmly believe and I know for certain that motherhood is far more than a phase or a period in time. Motherhood is a never ending journey, with early mornings and late nights filled with unbreakable bonds. It is piles of laundry with ongoing moments of laughter and silent periods of uncertainty. I have always said, motherhood is the hardest and the best job I’ve ever had.

I founded That Kind of Mama to intentionally celebrate motherhood at every unique stage. I also founded That Kind of Mama as a tribute to my own journey through motherhood as a working mom of seven wonderful kids including triplet boys, a stepmom to two sons, a wife to the husband of my dreams, and in recognition of all the mothers in my family.
